Hello everybody
I have recently downloaded from Dimeadozen.org Mike's show on
Stuttgart. I assume most of you are not registered there, so I have
upped this into eMule network ;) The files are in FLAC format and
the pack includes plug-ins for Winamp and Nero Burning ROM (in fact,
last version of Winamp includes FLAC support). For further details
about FLAC, please visit the official website:
http://flac.sourceforge.net/
I made a little mistake when I included the file and it hadn't file
extension. I corrected this but the firsts copies where created
without the ".zip" that identifies the format of the pack, and still
some new copies are created without this. So if this happens to you,
you should change the file name and add this yourself. Sorry.
The eLink is as follow:
ed2k://|file|Mike.Oldfield.2006-12-20.Hanns-Martin-Schleyer.Halle,Stuttgart.
(NOTP).-.lossless.
(FLAC).by.Spinne.zip|170342003|376FB3EC01CF47A5F4607063BD6F4942|h=CQSVVEYW4NVQ4
IL2ZRQBGSELM7S625J4|/
Remember that the pack is a ZIP one (not RAR or other kind of archive) and it
contains an audience recording (not the FM broadcast) of show (only Mike's
songs).
Have a nice download.
Mario

Well, eMule is a P2P program used to share files on your computer with other
users, so, you don't download from a server but from other users PCs. This is
what is called peer to peer (P2P) and most people use this to share official
records in MP3 (sure you have heard about it on the news sometime ;) ), but
you can share any kind of file.
This program can be downloaded from the official page of the project:
http://www.emule-project.net/
The same page includes a FAQ and a forum that can help you with the basic
configuration of the program.
Once you have the program, you will see you have 2 ways to find what you're
searching for. The first one is the usual, which is performing a search of
whatever you want to find in the network formed by all the connected at that
time (Search option). But in this network, all files included are marked with
a code and a link is generated, so if you have the link you can request the
file without having to perform a search. You only need to click the link
provided (your eMule client should be running while you click the link).
Regards.
Mario
