 >From Tubular.net:

"Mike will appear on the BBC Radio 2 program, Good Morning Sunday, on
28 May 2006, between 7-9AM. Thanks to Deadcalm and olracuk for the
information!

The program's website is located at
http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio2/shows/goodmorningsun/. "

Sounds quite interesting to hear, and as I could read on the show's
profile...it would be the radio version of Heaven and Earth Show (where
Mike appeared in 2002). And guess who is the host for the show - Aled
"Pictures in the Dark " Jones. :)

Well I got my DVD on Monday from Amazon - and stayed up late to watch it!
(i.e. after my wife finished watching all the usual rubbish!)

This is what it should all be about. Mike sweating with energy, mad hairy
drummers, fantastic keyboards.
Just perfect.

I think I might have seen this before on a VHS ( I have load of old stuff
sent to me by my old friend Ralf) but it looks great and sounds fine and is
much more convenient on the new format.

It is amazing how full the sound is bearing in mind there were only 6 of
them. Tim Cross is just amazing on the keyboards, what a great player he
is - any news on him nowadays?

For those of you considering buying this - don't . Just get it. It is well
worth the £10.45 it cost me.

Don't wait for some poor quality "free" version off the net - maybe it'll
make other videos (and we know they exist) available if sales are decent.
Interesting, there is no mention of Virgin on the material so I guess they
had no control over it - did Mike? My guess is probably not.

I first met Tim Cross and the band on the 82 tour at the Britannia Bar
(opposite the Hammersmith Odeon). I last saw Tim Cross doing a pub gig in
East Sussex, about 5 years ago. When I spoke to him he was having a good
time and enjoyed the Mike Oldfield years but Mike had not been in contact
since the late 80's. :-(
Shame.

Regards

Mike
